Give every note a clear home

Use a descriptive title and associate the note with its course. A title such as Cell division: checkpoints is easier to retrieve than Lecture 4. Keep the structure consistent without spending the lecture formatting.

Separate ideas from examples

Use headings for the main ideas and bullet points for supporting examples. Highlight a definition only when the emphasis helps you understand it later. More formatting is not always more clarity.

End with three questions

Write questions you should be able to answer after studying. Close the note and try answering them in your own words. Reopen it to check the gaps, then return to those questions at your next review.

Keep a useful revision queue

Pin the notes you need this week and unpin them after reviewing. CampusBrain stores notes locally, so you can review without a connection. Remember that local storage is not a cloud backup; share important notes as text before clearing your device.

Try one small change this week. A useful routine is one you can come back to.
