Your study material stays on your phone.
The mobile app stores your timetable, notes, tasks and recordings locally. It does not upload those materials to cloud storage. Audio takes device space, and clearing the app's data or logging out removes locally stored account material. Keep copies of important work before doing so.
Your account connects to the platform.
We store the account details you provide, including your name, email, phone number, university and year of study. The backend also stores subscription status, payment records and administrator fee-exemption changes. Passwords are hashed; mobile access tokens are held in the device's secure storage.
Payments use M-Pesa.
When you initiate a payment, the platform sends the payment phone number, amount and transaction references to Safaricom's Daraja service. Enter your M-Pesa PIN only in the official prompt on your phone. CampusBrain does not ask for or store that PIN.
Messages help us handle your enquiry.
The contact form stores your name, email, subject and message in the administrative inbox. Do not include passwords or other secrets. Contact us if you need help with information you submitted.
Cookies keep web sessions working.
The website uses session and security cookies to support login and protect forms. These pages do not embed advertising trackers or external marketing analytics.
About offline subscription checks.
The mobile app stores subscription dates and verification timestamps. It checks expiry locally and periodically refreshes status with the server. Administrator exemptions use a renewable offline access window; a change may take effect on the device at its next online verification.
